they're staff is great! the food is ok...not great, not bad...bartenders and waiters are friendly, the management seems too uptight...but the place is a great of a cheap hangout.

We went to McGee's Pub the night of Thanksgiving while in NYC to watch the parade. What a great time. When we entered the Pub, it was quiet, a little dark, and of course had a few televisions on.

The atmosphere quickly turned into a "party"! People came in and the party was under way. The atmosphere is probably the best in NYC! The bartender was friendly, the beer was cold, and everyone was great.

I would recommend anyone to visit this place while in NYC.

Reminiscing about our visit to N.Y.C. December 2 years ago with family, Jon and Bridgette McGrath. Visited McGees Pub then, had a wonderful time.
